Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting 4Monroe Legacy Coffee. This policy explains how we process, package, and ship your order so your coffee arrives fresh and at peak flavor for your enjoyment.

1. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1 business day (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) from the date the order is placed.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.
  • Because our beans are roasted as small custom batches, some orders may ship on a roast-to-order basis — if this applies to any of your products, we'll note the expected roast/ship date on the product page.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your order ships, including tracking information.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We currently ship via USPS,  UPS and FedEx. Estimated delivery times after processing:

Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by the carrier, weather, customs, or other events outside our control are not the responsibility of 4Monroe Legacy Coffee.

3. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and delivery address. We may offer free shipping promotions on orders over a certain amount and any such threshold will be clearly stated at checkout or on our homepage.

4. Domestic & International Shipping

  • We currently ship to addresses within the United States.
  • If applicable: International shipping is available to select countries. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by their destination country. These fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

5. Packaging & Freshness

  • All coffee is packaged in resealable bags to preserve freshness and protect against light, air, and moisture.
  • Each bag is labeled with a roast date so you know exactly how fresh your coffee is.
  • For best flavor, we recommend brewing within 2–4 weeks of the roast date and storing beans in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email to track your order. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update after it's issued.

7. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

  • Lost packages: If your tracking shows "delivered" but you have not received your order, please check with neighbors and your local carrier facility first, then contact us at 4monroeandco@gmail.com within 7 days of the delivery date.
  • Damaged packages: If your order arrives damaged, please email us at 4monroeandco@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damaged item(s) and packaging so we can make it right.
  • Delayed packages: Once a package leaves our facility, transit times are the responsibility of the carrier. We're happy to help track down a delayed shipment, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates.

8. Incorrect Address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrectly entered address. If you notice an error, contact us at 4monroeandco@gmail.com as soon as possible and we'll do our best to update it before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed.

9. Order Changes & Cancellations

Because we roast to order, please understand that once an order has shipped no changes or cancellations can be made.
